Dr. Akers participates in the majority of Health Insurance plans for the community. Certain procedures and office visits may not be reimbursed by our insurance plan. Please familiarize yourself with you insurance coverage.

Co-Pays and Self Pay payments are expected to be paid at the time of your visit. Deductibles and patient responsibility payments are to be paid within 30 days of your billing statement. If you are unable to folow our office policy, please notify our billing specialist so a payment plan can be agreed upon. A receipt, with charges and proper codes will be provided to any patient who is self pay or who wishes to file their own insurance for you, either paper claim or electronically as a courtesy to you.
