Patients are seen by appointments only. Our normal scheduling hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. When scheduling your appointment, please provide our receptionist with your full name, purpose of your visit and nature of yOUr problem. This will enable the receptionist to reserve the right amount of time for your visit. Dr. Akers puts forth his greatest efforts to run on time, if you were to arrive approximately 15 minutes early it would be greatly appreciated. Our office does request a 24-hour notice if you are unable to kep your scheduled appointment. If you are late for your appointment, we will provide your medical care at that time ONLY if our schedule permits, otherwise we will reschedule for an adequate time. If a patient misses 3 appointments without notifying our office, we do reserve the right to release you as a patient with the proper protocol. If the weather is bad, please call our office before leaving your home or work to verify your scheduled appointment and whether our office will be open.
